About the Step-Down Transformer
A zone system runs on 24V AC. Mains power is 240V. This transformer steps it down. It puts out 24V AC at 2 amps. That is enough for a normal 4 to 6 zone job. It powers the controller and each damper motor. The 240V side joins to mains power. A licensed electrician must do that part. The 24V side feeds the zone controller. It is made to match the F03 motor and our 4 & 6 Zone Controller. No guesswork. Use it on new zone jobs, to swap a dead transformer, or when you add more zones than the old one can run.
