Matched Kits

    Complete HVAC Zoning Kits

We supply zoning as matched kits, not loose parts — so the actuator, cable, coupling and control side arrive already known to work together.

    Why matched components matter

Most zoning callbacks come from mismatched parts rather than failed ones. Voltage has to line up end to end: the 240V to 24V step-down transformer must be sized for the total actuator load on the run, or dampers stall part-open under simultaneous demand. Shaft coupling has to be right too — an actuator that is a near fit on a damper spindle will develop play and eventually round out, which is what the shaft adapter kit exists to prevent.

Cabling is the third variable. Running signal and power as one six-core pull with the 15M six-core motor cable keeps terminations consistent at both ends and removes the guesswork of field-bundled cable. Ordering the kit together means every one of those interfaces is already accounted for.

What a typical residential ducted install needs

A standard Australian home on a single ducted system usually runs four to six zones. That means one F03 actuator per zone damper, a shaft adapter kit per actuator, a 15-metre cable run per zone to reach the furthest bedrooms from a roof-space controller, one 4 & 6 zone controller, and a single transformer sized for the combined actuator load. We quote that as one kit with matched quantities so nothing is short on the day.

What a light commercial fit-out needs

Light commercial work — offices, clinics, small retail tenancies — typically runs multiple controllers across several plant areas, more damper positions per floor, and longer cable runs between the controller and the far dampers. Transformer capacity usually needs to be split rather than centralised, and spare actuators and adapter kits are worth carrying for staged handovers. Send us the zone count and layout and we will quote the kit breakdown per plant area.
