HVAC Zoning Components & Parts
The core low-voltage parts behind every zoned ducted system — supplied to Australian trade on quote.
What HVAC zoning components are
HVAC zoning components are the low-voltage parts that let one ducted air-conditioning system serve several independently controlled areas. A zone controller reads the demand for each zone and sends a 24V signal down multi-core cable to an actuator motor mounted on each damper. The actuator drives the damper blade open or closed, and a step-down transformer supplies the 24V the control side runs on. The shaft adapter kit couples the actuator to the damper spindle so the drive train stays square and free of play.
Austra Supply stocks these parts in Australia for HVAC contractors, installers, service technicians and wholesalers working on residential ducted systems, multi-zone retrofits and light commercial fit-outs. We supply on a quote basis so pricing reflects your order volume, project schedule and delivery location. Every component listed below is held locally, so you are ordering against Australian lead times rather than an overseas container schedule.
The range
F03 Damper Actuator Motor
A low-voltage motorised actuator designed for use with HVAC zone dampers. Operating at AC24V/50Hz with a 1RPM output speed, the F03 delivers reliable open/close control of ductwork dampers across residential and light commercial zoning systems.
View product →15M Six-Core Motor Cable
A 15-metre six-core cable designed to connect zone actuator motors to the central zoning controller. The multi-core configuration carries both control signals and low-voltage power in a single run.
View product →240V to 24V Step-Down Transformer
A step-down transformer that converts standard Australian mains voltage (240V) to the 24V AC required by HVAC zone control systems. Rated at 2A, suitable for powering actuator motors and zone controllers.
View product →4 & 6 Zone Controller
A wall-mounted zone control panel that enables independent airflow management across up to six separate zones. Designed for seamless integration with 24V actuator systems.
View product →Shaft Adapter Kit
A mechanical coupling kit that joins the F03 damper actuator motor's 6 x 6 mm square drive shaft to the damper spindle. Includes one electroplated die-cast adapter and two copper sleeves, backed by a lifetime replacement warranty.

Power enters at the 240V to 24V step-down transformer, which converts mains supply to the safe low voltage the control side runs on. That 24V feeds the 4 & 6 zone controller, which decides which zones call for air and switches the corresponding outputs.
From the controller, the 15M six-core motor cable carries both power and control signal in a single run out to each damper position — one clean pull per zone instead of separate power and signal cables. At the damper, the F03 damper actuator motor drives the blade open or closed at 1RPM.
The shaft adapter kit couples the actuator to the damper spindle and takes up tolerance between shaft sizes, which is what keeps the assembly from developing play over thousands of cycles. Ordered together as matched parts, these five items make up a full zoning kit — see complete HVAC zoning kits for how we package them.
