What HVAC zoning components do
Zoning parts let one ducted system heat or cool each area on its own. The zone controller checks which zones want air. It sends a 24V signal down the cable to a motor on each damper. The motor opens or shuts the damper, or holds it part open. A transformer makes the 24V power. A shaft adapter kit joins the motor to the damper so the fit stays tight.

View product →How the parts make a full zone system
Power starts at the 240V to 24V step-down transformer. It turns mains power into safe 24V. That 24V feeds the 4 & 6 zone controller. The controller picks which zones get air, and how much.
From the controller, the 15M six-core motor cable runs to each damper. It carries power and signal in one run. That is one cable pull per zone, not two. At the damper, the F03 damper actuator motor opens, shuts or holds the blade part open, at 1 RPM.
The shaft adapter kit joins the motor to the damper spindle. It makes up for size gaps so the fit stays tight over years of use. Buy all five parts as a set and you have a full zone kit. See complete HVAC zoning kits for how we pack them.
